Terms and Conditions when hiring a vehicle from SaClassics.com

 

  • Rates are charged from a minimum of 2 Hrs hire time
  • Rate / hour include chauffeur from time of pick-up to time of drop-off.
  • If the charter exceeds the quoted / Invoiced Hrs an exrtra rate per hr as indicated on quote / invoice may be charged               
  • If the trip exceeds the quoted / Invoiced kilometres an extra cost per kilometre may be charged.
  • Bookings will only be accepted via fax or e-mail with a confirmed deposit paid.
  • A deposit of 30% of the total fee charged on the invoice is required to confirm your booking.
  • The balance of the fee charged has to be paid 7 days before the event.
  • Non compliance of the above will be considered a cancellation of the hire contract between SA CLASSICS and the client.
  • Cancellations to be made via fax or email to be valid.
  • Cancellation charges :(% of fee to be paid back if you cancel the event)
    •  DEPOSIT
      • More than 30 days prior to booking - 30% cancellation fee (DEPOSIT to be paid back )
      • Less than 30 days prior to booking  - No deposit to be paid back
    • FULL PAYMENT ( % of fee to be paid back of full payment if full payment was made more than 7 days before the event date )
      • More than 30 days prior to booking - 30% cancellation fee (70% of FULL Payment will be paid back )
      • 29 to 22 days prior to booking - 40% cancellation fee (60% of FULL Payment will be paid back
      • 21 to 15 days prior to booking - 50% cancellation fee (50% of FULL Payment will be paid back )
      • 14 to 8 days prior to booking - 75% cancellation fee (25% of FULL Payment will be paid back )
      • 7 days prior to booking         - 100% cancellation fee (0% of FULL Payment will be paid back )
  • Please observe our non - smoking policy in the vehicles
  • The Client is responsible for guests and assumes full financial responsibility for any damages to vehicle caused by client or guest whether by accident , neglect or intent
  • We assume no responsibility for articles left in the vehicle/s. Our Chauffeurs and SAClassics not responsible for any damage or loss incurred.
  • Our Chauffeurs may terminate the charter at any time , without refund if they deem the client ( or their guests ) unruly or endangering the safe operation of the vehicle .
  • Our Chauffeurs and SAClassics are not responsible for illegal acts committed by the client or their guests during the charter .
  • SAClassics will not be responsible for any delays or inconvenience due to :
    • Public disturbance, riots etc
    • Traffic (accidents, Road Blocks or peak hours ) 
    • Unfavorable road and/or weather conditions
    • Unforseen machanical failures
    • Situations deemed an "Act of God"
  • Only the amount of passengers as contracted on invoice are allowed per vehicle as our passenger liability insurance will not cover additional passengers
  • Please note that SAClassics reserves the right to substitute the specific cars quoted/invoiced for with similar alternative vehicles in the event of an occurrence beyond our control .
  • Payment of the 30% deposit as per invoice implies that the customer (or his agent) have read ,understand and agrees to the terms and conditions as stated above
